The Amityville Horror II

It’s following us. For Kathy Lutz that was the appalling realization. Blindly, panicked, struggling against the possessive forces of the house on ocean Avenue, they had fled: a terrorized jumble of her and George, the children, dog and a few clutched belongings, piled into the old van. And even then the forces had reached out icy evil fingers to grab, pound hammer blows on roof and sides, snatch at brake cables, cut the electrics. A fury of anger, pulling them back. But they had got away. Made it through the nightmare drive to the safe refuge of her mother’s rambling suburban house. Free, at last they could hope. And then this. The realization. That Amityville Horror had followed them, was with them still, coiled malevolently round them.
