A cast of the era

In our country, the English writer Evelyn Waugh (1903-1966) is widely known as a novelist. This book introduces Russian readers to Waugh, a brilliant master short story writer, and is the first and most complete edition of his stories in Russian. The collection includes works created in different years: the book opens with the story "Multa Pecunia", published when its author was barely 12 years old, and ends with "Basil Seal Back on Horseback", written in his mature years.
