Denmark and Lithuania Through 100 Years of Bilateral Relations – From Neighbours to Allies

In the second half of 2021, Denmark and Lithuania celebrate two anniversaries: 100 years ago, diplomatic relations were established, and 30 years ago, the relations were re-established after 50 dark years of Soviet occupation. This book seeks to contribute to the celebrations by describing how the two countries have developed from being simply regional neighbours to close international allies now. 17 individual chapters, written by a wide range of well-informed experts, observers, and researchers, each add a unique contribution to the full picture of how Danish-Lithuanian relations have evolved over the past 100 years and how their quality and range have expanded up to the present day.
