Brother in the Land
Santrauka: Danny is one of the unlucky ones, a survivor, one of those who have come through a nuclear holocaust alive. In Skipley, an ordinary town in the north of England, there are still some people living. In plain language Danny sets down the sights and events around him, what he sees, what he hears and what he feels. Defending the stock of food in the cellar of his Dad's shop. The Black Rain. Fatching uncontaminated water from the well. The Spacers, the Badgers, and the Terminals. Everything. It isn't a pleasant story. Danny recors what happened to the people of Skipley, and in particular to himself, a girl called Kim and his little brother Ben, who was only seven years old when the bombs dropped.
