Lithuania Under German Occupation, 1941-1945

This is a collection of documents about the Nazi occupation of Lithuania (1941-1945) and the Lithuanian opposition to it. The documents have been prepared by the American Legation in Stockholm on the the ware-time activies of German authorities, the position of the clandestine Lituanian political organizations and their opposition to the regime of occupation. The despatches from Stockholm were based on the German official publich media and especially on the clandestinely transmitted documents and reports by the Lituanian anti-Nazi movement. The despatchs from Stockholm constitute a significant historical source on the conditions in Lithuania during the war years.
