Stardust

This story follows the adventures of Tristran as he discovers a magical world beyond the wall that lies beside his perfectly normal English village. Believing himself to be in love with the town beauty, Victoria, Tristran vows to bring her back a star after seeing one fall to the earth beyond the wall for her hand in marriage. Tristran sets out on his journey and soon discovers that life beyond the wall is quite different including strange creatures, flying ships, and greedy witches looking for eternal youth. He also discovers that when a star falls beyond the wall it isn’t a rock but a girl. Now Tristran must bring the girl back to Victoria while avoiding witches who would like to cut our her heart, discovering who he really his, and learning what love is.
